Lighting, lighting, lighting.... I could
talk for hours upon end about the art, science, and other suchlike
elements of Mood Lighting. It's been an interestingly educational
career thus far, and I can honestly say that if you want to
learn about all aspects of art, I suggest that you start with
lighting.
Over the years (and it HAS been a few years,
oh my....) I've worked in numerous environments including theaters,
concerts, promotional tours, private events and most recently
- nightclubs. I enjoy the creative freedom of a nightclub, and
much of my work has geared towards synchronizing audio and visual
stimuli in order to generate a subliminally positive vibe. In
English, that means I use a lot of MIDI musical instruments
to toggle my lighting effects, and basically play my lightshows
like a composer. It's a little strange, but it helps keep things
interesting....
