October, 2005

OK everyone - I KNOW this page is LATE, but it's been an especially busy time this month.

Let's see... we attended two concerts in LA, have another coming up shortly, and our friend Fuji is back in town for a gruelling work schedule. The only times we can hang out with him are late, late night and that's just the way it is. Poor guy's been programming lighting since the day he got here, and lord knows when he'll be able to stop. Gosh darn those high-payin' corporate gigs.

Also, Sue's grandmother passed away just shy of her 81st birthday. So that prompted an emergency visit to Phoenix for the wake + funeral (and why do they call them 'wakes', anyway? I mean, if the deceased is expected to sit up and say "hello", wouldn't that just scare the socks offa ya?). OK, maybe that wasn't the most sensitive of things to say, but sometimes I need to fall back into my dark humor in order to cope. The whole family knows I miss Gwen, and I truly wish everyone well getting thru this.

OK, now for some fun news : Halloween 2005 is locked and loaded and ready to GO. That's right - Sue & I have finally revived our annual Halloween party celebration, and all those who have attended our previous bashes are automatically invited. If you did NOT receive an email invite, we're sorry - it's not easy to keep tabs on everyone's various aliases (plus we've gone thru a couple of computers and have lost more than one address). So if you want to get on the list (and receive instructions on the party location) CLICK HERE. It's going to be great - and there will be a few surprises - such as a LIVE music set by myself, Rob Pearman, and possibly a few others as well. Don't miss it!

Stay tuned.
